present tense

Remember yesterday?

So much happens in a day now. And it makes each moment matter in a way I have not experienced in my life up til now except in short bursts.

Present tense. Present. Tense.

I have felt some of the most challenging emotions. And some of the best. These days.

The challenging ones have been the ones affecting us all. Uncertainty. Deep uncertainty. What happened to my world?

The best: my daughter, Ariella, returning from Algeria. On the last plane to leave there. Safe.

AND the arrival of my grandson, Artemis! I couldn’t be in Toronto with Hunter and Lynn, very sadly. But Hunter did a beautiful job of delivering such a good looking, healthy baby. I can feel from afar the loving connection with this newborn. This blessing.

Yes. Each day. So full.

Present tense.
