red

Red. I’m on red. Large red horse coming up.

And why horse? Over and over. Horse after horse.

You know, I’m not sure. I can tell you that I don’t know a time when I didn’t see horses. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t ride horses. Daily, in my childhood.

And when I decided recently to research “the horse”, I read that they are no longer as ubiquitous as they once were. At the middle of the last century marked 20,000 years of being primary for agriculture, transportation, and war. Now, anyone who owns and rides a horse does it for love.

Come to think of it, those seem like 2 pretty good insights into my choice of horse. Why it’s been horse after horse for me. The equine image is buried in my past and is tied in with love.

I didn’t always have this focus. And I’ll keep doing horse until I don’t. Something else will emerge. Surely, it will be related in some way to my early self. And, yes, love.

You know the feeling. You’ve been with your own “horse”. Focused. You’re with it, with it, with it. And then..

The next move emerges.

Right now, I’m on red.

The red horse.
