I’m dedicating this blog post to Artemis who is 5 years old. Maybe someday Mischa, now 4 months old, will appreciate it. Both young artists were visiting me from Toronto, so I thought I’d share some fun with them. And perhaps strong baby David will like this some day as well.
It’s all about what you saw when you were here visiting me at the lake. It’s summer and there was so much green to see. All around.
It’s easy to tell what this green is:

(Don’t peek.
Take a guess)

You guessed it!
Trees. Across the lake. Tree green.
How about this green:

One of your favorites…
(I bet you know)

You did, didn’t you? Measuring tape green.
Let’s try a trickier one.
It doesn’t even look green, but it is…

What can that be?

Nana’s shirt, of course. I’d call that a greyish green.
Was that too hard?
Try this very bright green:

Can you tell? You liked this because it made you feel safe.
That green is part of what?

Your life jacket! YES! You had such a good time swimming in the lake this year.
Okay, this one is hard, but I thought you’d like it:
It’s something you need for the lake too.
But this is NOT yours.

This belongs to Uncle Victor.
It fell behind the towel basket and he couldn’t find it.
But it will be here for next year, all ready for him to wear on his swims with baby David.

I’m going to send this now:

Will it fly that far???
You can let me know.
Send me a photo of something green – Momma or T can take the photo, but YOU choose what to send.
What do you see that is green?
